All appraisals are performed in accordance to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), and are written according to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD/FHA, and/or WERC guidelines. TREA CORP is an active member of The Appraisal Foundation, which is authorized by the U.S. Congress as the source of Appraisal Standards and Appraiser Qualifications. The firm is also an active member of the MiRealSource, Flint Area Association of Realtors (FAAR) and the REALCOMP.

Barbara Trecola was one of the original founders and partners of Trea Corporation Appraisal and Consultation in 1991. Since becoming a State Licensed Residential Appraiser in the State of Michigan, she has completed residential appraisals for mortgage lending, estate planning, federal estate tax, property tax appeals and a variety of litigation purposes. She has been an Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute since 1989. The Appraisal Institute is the world’s leading professional real estate appraisal organization and members must comply with a strict code of ethics and continuing education requirements. Prior to starting here appraisal career, Barbara served the mortgage lending industry for three (3) years as a Loan Processor then as an Underwriter. Barbara is a graduate of the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts.

Joseph Trecola, CRP was one of the original founders and partners of Trea Corporation Appraisal and Consultation in 1991. Since becoming a Certified Residential Appraiser in the State of Michigan, he has specialized in Relocation, Litigation and Luxury home appraisals. In addition to being a member of Worldwide ERC with a Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation, he is an active member of RAC – Relocation Appraisers and Consultants and is currently on the Board of Directors. He is a member of DRRC – Detroit Regional Relocation Council. He is an Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute. And he is a member of NAR – National Association of Realtors. Prior to starting his appraisal career, Joseph was a Financial and Marketing executive with Ford Motor Company for 14 years. He graduated from the University of Utah in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Daniel J. Bittner, SRA joined Trea Corporation Appraisal and Consultation in 2006. Since becoming a Certified Residential Appraiser in the State of Michigan, he has completed residential appraisals for mortgage lending, estate planning, federal estate tax, property tax appeals, relocation and a variety of litigation purposes. In 2009, he earned the prestigious SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute. The Appraisal Institute is the world’s leading professional real estate appraisal organization and members must comply with a strict code of ethics and continuing education requirements. He is also a member of DRRC – Detroit Regional Relocation Council. Prior to starting his appraisal career, Daniel was sport management professional for Baseline Tennis Management in Birmingham, MI for three (3) years. He graduated from Ferris State University, Big Rapids, Michigan with the Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. |
