| HOMEBUYER PROTECTION PLAN |
| In response to neighborhood and community action groups, HUD launched the Homebuyer Protection Plan, a package of far-reaching reforms which will benefit consumers by dramatically reinventing FHA's home appraisal process. The plan goes into effect August 1, 1999. For more information, visit HUD's related press release, and the recently issued HUD Mortgage Letter 99-18 which includes the new Valuation Condition (VC) form. |
